Troubleshooting & FAQs
Why Aren't My Backlinks Showing?
If you recently requested backlinks through our exchange network but don't see them verified yet, don't worry—this is completely normal! Our automated verification system needs time to check that each backlink is live before consuming your credits.
Understanding the 14-Day Verification Window
When a backlink is first created, it appears in your dashboard with a "Pending" status. This means the link has been established, but our system hasn't verified its presence yet.
What to expect:
First verification check occurs within 14 days of creation.
Our system runs automated scans daily at 5 AM UTC.
Credits are only consumed once a link is successfully verified.
You'll see the status update to "Verified" when the check completes.
A "Pending" status is a good sign—it means your backlink is in the verification queue and the system is working correctly.
Why the Wait?
The 14-day window allows for several critical steps to complete:
Source articles to be published: Scheduled content may not be live immediately.
Search engine crawlers: Time for search engines to index the new content.
Multiple verification attempts: The system performs up to 30 scans to ensure accuracy.
This delay protects you—credits aren't deducted until we've confirmed the backlink is actually live and reachable.
Backlink Status Explained
You'll see four possible statuses in your dashboard:
Pending (Blue badge): Link created but not yet verified. No credits consumed.
Verified (Green badge): Link successfully found on the source page. Credits consumed.
Not Verified (Gray badge): Link wasn't found during the initial scan. No credits deducted.
Refunded (Orange badge): Previously verified link was later removed. Credits automatically returned.
Common Reasons for Delays
If your backlink remains pending beyond 14 days, it could be due to:
Scheduled publishing: The source article's publish date is in the future.
Platform restrictions: Source site is on a restricted hosting platform (e.g., WordPress.com, Blogspot).
Technical issues: The source page couldn't be reached or crawled.
Link not present: The backlink wasn't actually added to the source article.
What Should I Do?
If it's been less than 14 days: Be patient! This is the expected timeframe. Your backlinks are being processed.
If it's been more than 14 days and the status is still "Pending":
Check that you meet the prerequisites:
Active Premium or Enterprise subscription.
Own domain (not a blog hosting platform).
Content approved by moderation checks.
Contact our support team if the issue persists—we can manually investigate.
Quick Checklist:
Backlink shows as "Pending" in dashboard.
Less than 14 days since creation.
Active subscription is current.
Your domain meets platform requirements.
If you've checked all these boxes, your backlinks are processing normally. You'll receive verified links soon!
