Backlinks & Link Building
Backlink Verification Process and Timeline
Our backlink system is built on a "Pay-for-Performance" model, ensuring you only spend credits on active, high-quality links. This is managed through a two-stage automated process: initial verification and continuous revalidation.
Stage 1: Initial Live Verification
When a backlink is first created or requested, it enters the Initial Verification phase. During this stage, our system actively scans the source article to confirm the link is live and correctly placed.
The 14-Day Window: The system performs up to 30 automated scans over a 14-day period to find the link.
Live Check: We verify the exact target URL, the agreed-upon anchor text, and ensure the page is accessible to search engines.
Credit Consumption: Credits are only deducted from your balance once the link is successfully verified as live. If the link is never found during this window, no credits are ever charged.
Stage 2: Continuous Revalidation
Verification doesn't end once a link goes live. To protect your investment, our system performs Continuous Revalidation. This is an ongoing maintenance cycle where our automated scripts return to the source page to ensure the link remains active.
Automated Monitoring: Our system performs these revalidation scans daily at 5:00 AM UTC. You don't need to manually check your links; the system handles the monitoring for you.
How the Refund System Works
If our revalidation script detects that a previously verified backlink has been removed, changed to "nofollow" (if not agreed upon), or the page has become inaccessible, the system triggers an Automatic Refund.
Detection: The link is flagged as "Removed" during a daily scan.
Status Update: The link status in your dashboard changes to Refunded (Orange badge).
Credit Reversal: The credits originally spent on that link are immediately returned to your account balance.
This automated refund ensures that you never pay for a link that isn't providing SEO value to your site.
Understanding Credit Balances
In our exchange network, credits are a two-way street. You earn credits by hosting links for others and spend them to receive links. Because of the automated refund system, it is possible for your credit balance to become negative.
How this happens:
If you host a backlink for another user, you "earn" credits based on your site's authority.
If you later remove that article or link from your website, our revalidation system will detect the removal.
The system will then "refund" the other user by taking those credits back from your account.
If you have already spent your earned credits on new backlinks for yourself, this reversal can push your balance below zero.
Important: To avoid a negative balance and maintain a healthy standing in the exchange network, ensure that articles containing exchange links remain published and accessible.
