Content Creation & Management
Scheduling Content with the Scheduler
The Content Planner is your central hub for managing a consistent, high-quality blog. By scheduling keywords in advance, you can build a robust content pipeline that generates and publishes articles automatically, allowing you to focus on other areas of your business while your SEO grows on autopilot.
The Scheduler operates on a rolling 60-day window. This means you can plan your entire content strategy up to two months in advance.
Accessing the Content Planner
To begin planning your calendar, navigate to the Content Planner from your dashboard sidebar. You can also access it directly at /dashboard/scheduler. The planner provides a visual calendar view where you can see all scheduled, generating, and published articles at a glance.
Understanding the 60-Day Window and Slots
Your content calendar is built around a "slot" system. Each slot represents one article that can be published on a specific day. The number of slots available to you depends on your subscription plan:
Basic: 1 article per day (~30/month)
Professional: 2 articles per day (~60/month)
Premium: 3 articles per day (~90/month)
At the top of the planner, you'll see a Slots Available counter (e.g., "45/60 slots available"). This helps you track how much room you have left in your current 60-day window. If all slots are full, you must remove or publish existing keywords before adding new ones.
How to Schedule Content
There are two primary ways to fill your calendar: automated generation and manual entry.
1. Automated Keyword Generation
For a truly hands-off experience, use the Generate Keywords feature. Our AI analyzes your niche, competitors, and target audience to find high-opportunity topics.
Click the Generate Keywords button (identified by the magic wand icon).
The system will identify relevant keywords and automatically fill empty slots in your calendar.
Note: You must have at least 5 empty slots available to trigger this feature.
Automated generation typically takes 4-5 minutes to populate your calendar with fresh ideas.
2. Manual Keyword Addition
If you have specific topics or SEO keywords you want to target, you can add them manually:
Click the Add Keywords button (the plus icon).
Enter your target keywords in the dialog box.
Once added, these keywords will appear in your "Keyword Pool."
Drag and drop keywords from the pool onto specific dates in the calendar to schedule them.
Customizing Your Articles
You can provide specific guidance to the AI for any scheduled article using Custom Instructions. This ensures the generated content aligns with your brand voice or specific campaign goals.
Hover over a keyword card in the calendar.
Click the Lightbulb icon in the top-right corner.
Enter your instructions (e.g., "Focus on beginner tips" or "Include a call to action for our summer sale").
A green dot will appear on the lightbulb icon to indicate that custom instructions are active for that article.
Managing Your Content Pipeline
The Content Planner is designed for flexibility. You can easily adjust your strategy as needed:
Rearrange: Click and drag any scheduled keyword card to a new date. The calendar will highlight valid slots in light blue.
Edit: Hover over a card and click the Pencil icon to change the keyword.
Remove: Hover over a card and click the Trash icon to delete a scheduled article and free up a slot.
Understanding Article Statuses
Each card in your calendar displays a status badge to help you track its progress:
Scheduled (Blue): The keyword is set for a future date and waiting for generation.
Generating (Yellow): The AI is currently writing the article.
Pregenerated (Blue/Info): The article is written and ready, waiting for its scheduled publish time.
Published (Gray/Green): The article has been successfully sent to your blog.
Failed (Red): There was an issue with generation or publishing. Check your integration settings or contact support.
Publishing Frequency and Autopilot
All articles scheduled for a specific day are published in a batch between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM UTC. To ensure your blog never goes dark, we recommend enabling Autopilot.
Go to Settings > Articles > Preferences and toggle on Automatic Keyword Generation. When enabled, the system will automatically generate new keywords whenever your scheduled count drops below 25, keeping your 60-day pipeline consistently full.
With Autopilot enabled, your content marketing runs entirely in the background, providing a steady stream of SEO-optimized content to your site.
Summary
The Content Planner transforms content management from a daily chore into a strategic, automated process. By leveraging the 60-day window, custom instructions, and Autopilot settings, you can maintain a professional blog with minimal manual effort. Start by filling your first week of slots today!
