Internal Linking and Content Enhancement

Creating high-quality content involves more than just writing text. To truly engage your audience and perform well in search engines, your articles need to be rich with relevant links, media, and clear calls to action. Our platform automates these enhancements, allowing you to focus on your message while we handle the technical optimization.

These settings can be configured globally for all future articles or adjusted individually for specific pieces of content during the creation process.

Automated Internal Linking

Internal linking is a powerful SEO strategy that helps search engines understand your site structure and keeps readers on your website longer. Our system automatically selects relevant links from your existing content to include in new articles.

1. Setting Up Your Link Source

Before the AI can suggest links, you must provide a source for your existing content. This is typically done by providing your website's sitemap.

  1. Navigate to the Linking Configuration page (or go to /dashboard/linking).

  2. Enter your Sitemap URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml).

  3. Click Save & Detect Links.

The system will crawl your sitemap and index your pages. You can review the discovered URLs in the "Link Detection Results" section to ensure everything is being tracked correctly.

If you haven't added a sitemap, you will see an alert in your Article Preferences. Internal linking cannot function without a valid list of your existing URLs.

2. Configuring Link Density

Once your sitemap is connected, you can choose how many links to include in each new article:

  • Go to Settings > Articles > Preferences.

  • Locate the Internal Links dropdown menu.

  • Select between 0 to 5 links per article.

The AI will semantically analyze your new content and insert links to your most relevant existing pages automatically, ensuring the anchor text is natural and helpful for the reader.

YouTube Video Embedding

Adding video content can significantly increase the time users spend on your page. When the YouTube Video toggle is enabled, the system automatically searches for and embeds a relevant video based on your article's primary keywords.

  • How it works: The system uses your article's primary topics to find high-quality, relevant videos on YouTube.

  • Placement: Videos are embedded using a responsive format (16:9 aspect ratio) that looks great on both desktop and mobile devices.

  • Benefit: This provides your readers with alternative ways to consume information, making your content more accessible.

Custom Call-to-Action (CTA)

A Call-to-Action (CTA) directs readers toward a specific goal, such as signing up for a newsletter or visiting a product page. You can customize the appearance and messaging of your CTA block to match your brand's voice.

CTA Customization Fields

In your Article Preferences, you can modify the following fields:

  • CTA Block Title: The main heading for your CTA (Max 100 characters).

  • CTA Block Subtitle: A brief description or value proposition (Max 150 characters).

  • CTA Button Text: The text displayed on the action button (Max 25 characters).

  • CTA Block Helper Text: Additional context or a secondary message displayed near the button.

Keep your CTA button text short and action-oriented. For example, "Get Started" or "Download Now" are highly effective.

AI-Generated Infographics

When your article contains statistics, comparisons, or complex processes, the AI can automatically generate an infographic to replace a standard image. This makes data-heavy content much easier for readers to digest.

The system analyzes your article outline and determines if an infographic is appropriate. Common types include:

  • Data Charts: For visualizing statistics and trends.

  • Timelines: For chronological events or project phases.

  • Process Flows: For step-by-step guides and workflows.

  • Comparison Tables: For "vs" articles or feature lists.

Emoji Usage

Emojis can add personality to your brand voice and improve the readability of technical sections. By default, emojis are enabled to enhance visual appeal.

  • Primary Use: Emojis are most frequently used in comparison tables and lists to highlight key points.

  • Professional Tone: If your brand requires a strictly formal voice, you can disable this feature in the Preferences menu to remove all automated emojis.

Managing Global vs. Individual Settings

You have full control over when these enhancements are applied:

Global Preferences

To set the default behavior for every article you create, go to Settings > Articles > Preferences. Any changes made here will apply to all future drafts automatically.

Single Article Overrides

If you want to change settings for just one article (e.g., disabling YouTube videos for a specific case study):

  1. Open the New Article page.

  2. Click the Settings (gear icon) in the setup form.

  3. Adjust the toggles in the settings drawer. These changes will only affect the current article.

By combining these enhancements, you can create professional, high-converting articles with minimal manual effort.
